Tough questions from Etienne

Page history last edited by genevieve 2 yrs ago

Master Etienne Fevre sent a list of questions and issues to the seneschals after 12th night Coronation in January 2007.

These questions are, hopefully, jumping-off points for discussion.

Perhaps, in addition to posting replies to the yahoogroup, keen folks can post their answers here.

Set up a new page, copy and paste the list into the page, and then add your own responses.

  • Will local areas still be able to run events?
  • How will local practices be organised?
  • Will new areas of interest be encouraged to form cantons, or how will they be supported by the Barony?
  • How many events is the Barony envisioning running per year?
  • How many Crown Principality and Kingdom Level events does the barony anticipate running?
  • How often will the Baronial officers meet?
  • Will there still be local business meetings to decide on local activity such as practices, demos, recruitment, etc.?
  • In the absence of regular Baronial meetings what methods will be employed to aid the smooth running of the Barony?
  • Will the ok of the Baronial Seneschal and exchequer be needed for all events to proceed? Who else has a veto, the Baron/ess etc.?
  • How long a term is envisioned for the Baron/ess?
  • Will a set of baronial awards be put in place? If so what form will they take?
  • What sort of regalia will be needed? Who will transport/store it?

Answer as many, or as few, questions as you like.
